ReadyCLOUD user / share issues
Help! I need to correct an issue that is occuring with a newly created ReadyCLOUD account / Share. it created a "Share" under Home Folders and the user can not access the share accounts that i have set up. At this time, I need to Strip out the account and all shares "including" the share under the Home Folder. This is time sensatve so any help would be greatly appreciated!

A ReadyCloud user and a local user are different users from the NAS's perspective and cannot be made to be the same (which is just one of the things I dislike about ReadyCloud). So, make sure you have given the ReadyCloud user the permissions you desire. If that user is not a member of a group that already had access when the folders were created, you may need to reset permissions to make sure he has access. Unfortunately, that has to be done for every affected share. On the Shares page of the UI, select Settings from the gear icon for the share. Select File Access and insure you have everything set the way you want, then select Reset along the left side of that window. Then click the Reset permissions button. Depending on the number of folders and files in the share, it can take a while to complete. But it does that in the background and then gives you an alert when it's done.
