ReadyCloud for RN214 - Admin page not working

ReadyCloud for RN214 - Admin page not working

If I open the ReadyCloud widget from the tray (Windows 10, Chrome browser) and click on Admin Page, it simply displays:

 

NETGEAR

ReadyNAS

Version 6.10.8

 

No admin options are available.

Switching to another brand.  Throwing this Netgear NAS on the trash heap where it belongs.

I had same Issue, shut down NAS, push in reset and power up holding reset till you get to boot menu, than let go, use the backup button and scroll to Reinstall operating system, tap reset button to except.

This is worth a try, but I do want to point out that an OS reinstall has a couple of side effects:

  • The NAS admin password is reset to password
  • Network settings are reset to default (DHCP, with no bonding)
  • Volume quota is turned off (can be re-enabled on the volume settings wheel).
