ReadyNAS 4220X and 20TB WD drives
Western Digital is having a 50% off sale on their 20TD Drives (either Red 3.5: NAS HDD or Gold SATA HDD). I have a ReadyNAS 4220X with 7 - 4TB WD Drives in it already in a RAID6 Volume. I have 2 questions:
1.) Does the 4220X support these Drives?
2.) Is it possible to add 4 of these drives and create an Additional RAID6 Volume?
Any suggestions/direction would be greatly appreciated.

The largest drive on the HCL is 18 TB. That doesn't mean these drives aren't compatible, it just means that Netgear hasn't tested them. FWIW, they are very slow (and might never add another drive to the list).
As far as is known, there is no maximum capacity for disk size or volume size with OS 6 firmware. So these drives should work.

Yes, just make sure you are configured to use flexraid.
