ReadyNAS 6.9.0 (RN214) - Timeout when checking for updates
I am getting a Operation Timeout when I do a check for updates. "Operation Timeout. Communication Error. check your internet connections, DNS settings, or proxy settings." have not updated anything or made any changes to the configuration. I saw another post that said to check the NTS and make sure it is getting the right time. All that is shows that it is working but still getting error. any suggestions of fixes.

Try again. I was seeing this error on all my NAS earlier today.
It is working correctly for me now. I believe it was an issue with Netgear's update servers, not your NAS.
