ReadyNAS Duo V1 Dead
Hello, My ReadyNAS Duo v1 appears to have had a meltdown after a power outage the other day. When I turned it on, the blue LED on the power switch flashes for around 1-2 secs, then goes out, the Disk1&2 LEDs flash at approx 1 second intervals and the cooling fan is going flat out. That is all that happens! I have tried to reset the unit with the reset button on the rear, and have tried to reload firmware using Tftpd and holding the power button & reset button etc. But the unit doesn't respond to anything. Sometimes when it is turned on, just disk1 LED stays on constant and the LAN connection light lights up when the Cable is connected. Has anyone struck A similar issue? Any help would be appreciated, thanks & Regards, Kim

Open a tech support case at my.netgear.com and post your case number.
When did you purchase this Duo?

Re: ReadyNAS Duo V1 Dead
Hi, thanks for the reply. I bought this unit 2nd hand about 2 years ago. So it is well and truly out of warranty. should I still open a tech support case?
