ReadyNAS Duo Won't Verify Registration
I have been using a ReadNAS Duo v1 since purchased in 2009. I am the original owner. The product is registered. It's been working fine.
I just updated it to RAIDiator 4.1.16.
I've been using the backup to USB feature, creating backup jobs using the Web GUI.
Today I wanted to change some of these backup jobs, or add a new job. The 'Apply" button that allows me to save changes is non-functional (greyed out). These functions all used to work, but it's been awhile since I used them.
The "Registration' button is not greyed out. Pressing the registration button takes me to a Netgear "Oops, We Couldn't Find the Page You're Looking For".
I'm assuming the problem is that the my NAS can't verify that it is registered so some functions don't work.
If that's the case, how do I convince my NAS that its owner (me, the original owner) did indeed register the product?
Thanks,
Randy

Re: ReadyNAS Duo Won't Verify Registration
Never mind. I figured it out.
I wasn't letting me save the job as I hadn't completed the specification. The external HDD I wanted to back up to was not connected to the NAS so it didn't show up in the GUI page as a selection.
I had connected the drive to my PC to check that the stuff I wanted backed up was getting there.
Sorry for the chaff.
