ReadyNAS NV+ has power but appears dead
Hi,
I have a ReadyNAS NV+, probably v1 that appears dead even though the fan is blowing.
When the power is switched on, the fan starts blowing and all flights flash once quickly but that’s it. Hard disks don’t appear to spin up and nothing is lit anywhere. Reset switch also has no effect. The fan just continues to blow.
Is my NAS dead or is there something I can do to kickstart it?

If it has an internal power supply it it a v1; If it has a power brick it's a v2

It could still be the PSU. Is there anything showing on the LCD panel? If there isn't, then it could be the +5 vlt.
It is possible to replace the PSU with some effort. But I think a better plan is to get a new OS-6 NAS. Do you have data you need to off-load?
