ReadyNas 104 total Capacity

Hi

I used the RAID calculator, added 2x 10TB and 2X 3TB. Calculator says total cap then is

Capacity:14.5 TiB
Protection:9.09 TiB
Unused:0 B
Level:X-RAID (raid5)

But after factory reset i end up with 8.17TB

Anyone have a solution to this 🙂 ?

Yes.  Vertical expansion happens in a second stage, so after the reboot the capacity should increase.

Re: ReadyNas 104 total Capacity

Have you tried a reboot or two?

Have you got X-Raid enabled?

8.17 tiB is what you could expect using Flex-RAID Raid 5

Re: ReadyNas 104 total Capacity

I use X-Raid and get 8.17 but calculator says i should get(It's still resync, but capacity will not change after resync? Did factory reset first):
