ReadyNas Duo v1 firmware upgrade and disk replacement
Hello. I have an old RND2000v1 running 4.1.10. I’m about to replace one disk with a new Seagate Ironwolf 2TB. Thinking I should upgrade the firmware to 4.1.16. Any pros and/or cons to go to the new version? I downloaded the firmware, haven’t tried to upgrade directly from FrontView. Should I upgrade before or after adding the disk? Right now running degraded with just one disk.

Either way should work, but in your case I'd upgrade afterwards. Most of the changes after 4.1.10 were security fixes.
