I'm trying to figure out how to create the most efficient backup solution using ReadyNAS, and although I *think* it will support what I want to do, I haven't been able to confirm it, so before investing I'd like to just have a it sorted out:
I'd like to use two disks in an Ultra 4 for a RAID 1 setup for photos, videos and other important data. In addition to this, I'd like to do a incremental remote backup of this data to another Ultra 4 at a friends place. If we both have the same setup, this would mean that I've got a disk in his Ultra with my data backed up, and he would have a disk in my Ultra with his data (in total 3 disks per Ultra 4).
I guess this is a pretty vanilla setup and normal use, but for me who's a rookie in the wonderful world of ReadyNAS it's still not obvious that things work like this. Do they?
