the changes seem to have rendered replicate.readynas.com ...non-functional...DNS via nameservers at netgear do not seem to "get me" to replicate site?

A PM will sit in your outbox until the party to whom it was sent opens it. It will then move to the sent folder. This lets you know if the other party has ever opened it or not. As to replicate - I am not familiar with it so can offer no help.
