syncthing
I would happily pay a little amount for someone to build an os6 version of sync thing. Anyone keen?

Re: syncthing
Thanks, Poussin. Syncthing is still syncthing and pulse is pulse. They had an amicable forking so to speak.

Awesome. Let me know if you need a tester as I was about to run the thing directly to give it a go.

Re: syncthing
You are amazing, thank you. I installed it, it worked! then I broke it. I think I set a large folder to scan then restarted. The GUI is absent but in top pulse is chewing up the resources. Does it complete a scan before initialising the GUI? I tried removing it and the settings folder then reinstalling but got the same issue. Any ideas?

Re: syncthing
Yes. Looks like I have broken it. I have tried removing it completely but when i reinstall and enable the service "pulse" takes most of the CPU and there is no GUI. Where would I find the logs for this to see what I have done wrong? Also, is there a location where residual config or data is housed that needs to be purged?

Re: syncthing
That is so odd.
I uninstalled through GUI.
Deleted /apps/pulse
Restarted.
Re-installed
GUI doesn't now load and the CPU is high.
The first install seemed to work well with the GUI coming to life. Is there a log I should check elsewhere?

What apps do you have installed?
I see you are using snapshots and presumably CoW with Transmission. That is not recommended.

If there are old snapshots on the transmission share, you might want to delete them though.

Thanks, SP. I am not sure what to advise on reproducing, I just restarted mid way through a scan and now despite cleaning it out completely, it fails to fire up the GUI. Starting from the CLI makes it look like it is working... note, it updated this time.
