Hi there, 

 

Just a couple of updates in the interest of other users facing similar issues.

 

I've performed an update to 6.7.0-T158, by downloading the image file, uploading it ReadyNas 202 through manual firmware upload, and it has:

 

  1. Resolved antivirus definition update issue - virus definition has now been updated to latest available.
  2. Not resolved - apps update or install - they still continue as live problems as I am unable to install any new apps

As I have sensitive datas on my device I can't perform beta testing on it I'd loved if I had a fused unit!

Understood, and you have my commiseration

 

Also, as I use Plex TV and i've always been required to manually update it by downloading the latest from Plex TV and uploading the DEB file, I've just performed it and it continues to work.

Hello all,

 

As you can see from the log below, since installing 6.7.0-T158, I have not made any changes to the system.  I previously reported that anti virus definination has been refreshing as it had stopped since I installed 6.6.1, and that I still could not install applications.

 

However, that changed today as I have now successfully installed Resilio Sync and LogAnalyzer!

 

Cognisant that this may not be replicable, admins can you please advice if there is anything I can provide you with that may assist in your analysis?

Might be best if you can provide the full system logs. I will have it sent to our subject matter expert afterwards.

 

How do I send all logs to ReadyNAS Community moderators?

There is a fix that we made to apps regarding to installation issues from the 6.6.1 builds with the latest 6.7.0 beta:

The 6.7.0 beta 2 firmware was posted in the Community, it should have both the AntiVirus issue and the app installation issue.
