Getting status message Corrupt root
Hi.
I have used my ReadyNas Ultra2 for something like 2 years. And now one HDD is broken.
I changed it and then "Status: Corrupt root"
Tryed OS reinstall --> and that diden´t work (same Status: Corrupt root")
so i tryed --> Factory default --> and that diden´t work (same Status: Corrupt root")
so i tryed --> ERASE all data --> and that diden´t work (same Status: Corrupt root")
so i tryed --> Switch possitions on HDD and then Factory default --> and that diden´t work (same Status: Corrupt root")
Then i have tryed Factory default a cuppel of more tryes but it allways goes back to Corrupt root.
Please help me in some way. Now im out of ideés

Try putting the drives into a PC, and zeroing them with the vendor disk diags (both seagate's seatools and wdc's lifeguard can do that in their "advanced" tests).

When i boot the RNDU 2 and press RESET. The led is behave as it is specefied.
I chose the factory deafault. Then press reset and i get a rebot.
Then i get this
After somehing like 30 sec the sound form the HDDs are gone.
And in the picture i have klick on setup. I can pick what ewer here. ( i have tryed them all )(3 different first expand vol recomended and the i tested RAID 0 and then, wht the **** i go whit the ERASE)
.
But allways i end up whit this. After aprox 20 sec
I cant access the IP adress in an internet browser. I cant se or communicate whit it in any way. I need to go to step one agan. And reboot over and over again. Please help me

IS it maby possibel to load / upgrade firmware from USB memory?

There were two problems here.
1. The firmware on the flash was corrupt, so the factory reset would have failed as a result of this. I fixed this. Whilst USB Boot Recovery could have been used to fix this particular problem there may have been some side effects.
2. One of your disks appears to be bad.
