ReadyNAS login problem

Hi,

i have a problem with my ReadyNAS Duo 2000.

It has got 2x 1TB WD Enterprise-class HDDs installed.

model: ReadyNASRND2000

I can ping the device but I cant login through webinterface. I did OS reinstall and factory reset by pushing the reset button on the back while powering on. I tried "admin" und "password" but still cant login after factory reset. Raidar6.3 can not find the device.   What do you guys think?   Cheers Sebastian

Re: ReadyNAS login problem

Hi raebel,

Welcome to the Community!

The default admin credential for the ReadyNAS Duo v1 is admin for the username and netgear1 for the password.

You may try using the older version of RAIDar, which is the 4.3.8, and see if it can detect the NAS.

Re: ReadyNAS login problem

Thanks a lot.

I was confused because it says RND2000 v2 at the bottom of the NAS.

So i read the wrong documentation.

After upgrading the firmware, RAIDar 6.3.0 works fine now.

Thanks for your support.

Cheers

Sebastian

The labeling is confusing.

All v2 (arm-based) ReadyNAS say "v2" on the front of the chassis.  Several v1 (sparc-based) ReadyNAS have labels on the back that say v2 or even v3.
