Armor not installing

My router has the latest firmware installed  1.0.4.52  and i have  uninstalled and reinstalled the  nighthawk app on my phone several times ,  I have also done a new setup from my phone , but no matter what i try   i cannot get armor on to my router , All the instructions i see  tell me is it should be automatic after doing a new setup, yet i get nothing  any ideas what i am doing wrong ?

A couple of points, where are you looking for Armor?

 

Try the browser graphical user interface (GUI) and see if you can activate Armor there..

 

While you are in there apply the latest firmware:

 

R8000 Firmware Version 1.0.4.56 - Hot Fix | Answer | NETGEAR Support

 

As a hotfix, it probably hasn't arrived on the firmware FTP server.

 

Secondly, Armor has its own bolt hole:

You might do better to try there.
