Consumer UX is not a high priority segment of the Netgear business model. The UX here is stuck in the archane ways of the 20th century.
Haven't updated this thread for a while...
- Since some 1.0.5.8 ReadyShare (SAMBA SMB access) does no longer work with authentication
- Self-signed certificates (OpenVPN) can be generated without a date/time setting, so these will show up as expired in 1989.
- Plex does sometimes not start after crashes or power failures, zero troubleshooting support in the Web UI

Christian_R time to rush this complete thread to engineering - no idea what they are waiting for. Once fixed, the same code fixes can be ported to other Nighthawk router builds, what will fix the many similar issues.
