Can't log in to Nighthawk app (R6400v2)

Hello. I Have problem with login to Nighthawk app. Everything was working normally suddenly app has asked me for router password and won't accept this password. Replay is: Logon timed out please try again. If this issue persists  try rebooting your device.

 

Device (phone) was rebooted - doesn't help,

Cash of android Nighthawk App cleared -doesn't help

Clear all data of app - doesn't help

Uninstall/Reinstall app - doesn't help

Restart of router - doesn't help

Reset router to factory setup - this help me but this is not acceptable solution.

 

Today Nighthawk app second time didn't accept my password and reply with above message.

Do I have reset to factory my router every two weeks to get this app working?

Please fix it.

Your not the first we've seen with issues on the app. 

Most resort to just logging in through the browser. 

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

I'm paying for Netgear Armor and the only way to enable or disable this service is to use Nighthawk app.. that's why i need it.

What is the firmware on the router?

 

Firmware and app operations are closely linked.

If its causing an issue with using armor, you can go through support as well. 

To get a hold of support for subscriptions services like Armor/Circle, click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process.
Click on: My Support---->Contact Support---->Get help with my subscription service

Router firmware is: V1.0.4.126_10.0.102

Nighthawk Appversion is: 2.15.1.2104

That is the latest firmware for the R6400v2. Your first message said R6400. That's different hardware.

Ok, but in subject i wrote R6400v2. I cant select R6400v2 in predefined router list on this forum.

I have already know, that restoring to factory setting fix it. I have done this actually three times and always suddenly error with login appears. Netgear should diagnose what is causing it and fix it.

Did you factory reset and setup with the NH app again? 

Does the NH app not work again after a period of time?
