Can't login to R7000 on Nighthawk App
I can no longer login to or access my R7000 router via the Nighthawk app.
If I am connected to the R7000 wifi, the app will ask me to login with my admin credentials. After entering those and pressing Sign In, it spins momentarily and then comes back with a message saying "Logon timed out, please try again. If this issue persists, try rebooting your device." I have tried again, and rebooted the router and tried again, all many times, with no different result.
If I am not connected to wifi and try to connect via Anywhere Access, it comes back with a screen with a check mark on the left, next to a picture of the router, and on the right shows a green dot next to the name, and says "Connected Via Anywhere Access". Then another message pops up that says "Device is offline".
I can access the router without issue on my desktop via the routerlogin.net interface. I cannot find anywhere to change any setting that may resolve this issue. The Anywhere Access via my phone is valuable for me managing my network, and very frustrating that it no longer seems to work.

Re: Can't login to R7000 on Nighthawk App
Thanks for your reply.
For some unknown reason, shortly after my original post, I was able to reestablish a connection to my router through the Nighthawk app.
A short while ago, I lost access again, and the behavior is the exact same as before. The app will seem to connect, then prompt for Admin login to the router. It fails to authenticate every time -- "Logon timed out".
My router is using the latest firmware V1.0.11.136_10.2.120. I'm using an iOS device with iOS 15.6.1. The Nighthawk app has access to the Local Network. I have closed the app and restarted my phone completely clean. I have tried turning off Private Wi-Fi Address and Limit IP Address Tracking. None of these provided any different result.
I'm loath to go to the suggestion in your bottom link which is basically a full factory reset of the router. Are there no other options? How can Netgear allow this issue to persist, even as they try to push router management increasingly through their apps?
