Hi
I'm having problem to register my router to the Genie app using either the Genie iOS app or the Window app. Logging in with remote access gives that "No router is registered with this account. Connect this device locally behind the router. then try again". But when doing so - what should I do to register the router? Going to Router settings gives me nothing..... What do I not understand?
Please help!
Kind regards
/Knut

Hi @patfan0315,
Please refer to the link below for the devices that is supported by the NETGEAR Genie app:
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24686/~/netgear-genie-supported-routers
You can also access the router's UI via a web browser to make changes to its settings. Your extender should not affect that functionality. You may find the link below helpful.

Re: Can't register my router to the Genie app (WNR3500Lv2
Hi @KHeilborn,
The reason for that is your router model is not among the supported devices. You may check the link below and click on the option at the bottom that indicates "This answer applies to the following products (Click to Expand)" to see the list of supported devices.
