Im havung a issue with trying to update from the IOS app for netgear/nighthawk. i can manually update from the computer but will not work from my phone app it just says cannot update try again later.
Maybe a app or app sevice issue. I recommend avoiding using the mobile app for FW updates. Use the routers web page or manually update FW on the router.
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Nighthawk App product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Nighthawk App and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general router" forum.
