Dissatisfaction with the de-supporting of Genie, and the lack of features of Nighthawk App
All of a sudden, Netgear Genie was discarded. I can now use the Nighthawk App; to my dismay this is a smartphone app only -- no desktop version! Why?
More importantly, this App misses a plethora of Genie functions; so far I found it can only list devices, but not map the network; it doesn't come with a network activity monitor; I'm sure are many more.
Any advice, suggestion, or even a sensible expalanation of why Netgear took this radical, seemingly idiotic, step?
