On the nighthawk app when I go to devices each device has a link rate what does that mean? Is that the wifi speed that they are receiving from the router?

Re: I have a C700v2 need help with app
That's their negotiated link rate between router-----device. It can change based on distance/interference.
And it gives you a rough idea of how fast the connection is because usually actual throughput speed is roughly 55-65% of link speed.

I have a device on the app that says the link rate is 144Mbps does that mean that is the amount of speed it’s using?

Re: I have a C700v2 need help with app
Thats its connection to the router, not the amount of bandwidth used.
