Latest iPhone app cannot connect to RAX80

The latest iPhone Nighthawk App can no longer connect to the RAX80. The router is up an on the Internet and local Lans are functioning. I can ping RAX80 from my iPhone. This has to be a bug.

Be sure your device is connected to the routers wifi signal. 

Try a different mobile device to see if the app connects to compare if you have another device. 

 

Shake the phone back and forth while you see that message in the app and submit a bug report.

 

Can you log into the routers web page using a PC and web browser?

Nighthawk App works on iPad. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app on iPhone 12 Pro, but app still says it cannot find router. It is definitely on the same WiFi network and I can connect to the router from the iPhone using a browser. So the Nighthawk app just does not work right on the iPhone 12 Pro and Netgear will not talk to me because the router is no longer covered. Ideas?

Answer: you need to TURN OFF iCloud private relay
