Limiting kids' access
Hi, I have just purchased the NETGEAR N600. We have at least 6 devices connected wirelessly. What I want to do is block the kids devices at certain times ie: from 7:30pm to 6am.
I've managed to figure out the security levels on their devices but at a loss on how to set the times without it affecting my phone and my computer.
Cheers for the advice.

Re: Limiting kids' access
The parental control is based on opendns, which is a service you purcahse. Not sure of its effectiveness. Check out page 26.

Re: Limiting kids' access
I have a Netgear N300 router.
To limit kids access but not your own you have to fix the IP addresses then limit certain types of traffic according to the schedule for all but specified users. Then set up the schedule. You'll need a moderatley techy guy to do this for you. It's a shame that these modem allow only 1 schedule, but it's a lot better than nothing.
