NETGEAR Genie is not connecting to router

When i was trying to connect netgear genie to the netgear router its displaying the error " login failed.the router response timed out " i am unable to connect to the parental controls and the bypas...

    Hi, I had the same issue.  I had the option "Remember password" in Netgear Genie unchecked.  I noticed # threads in the taskmanager when I tried to connect to my router.  I checked the option "Remember Password" and tried again.  Guess what?  I could connect to my router without any issue.
