Naming Devices
I happen to own a X6 AC3200 Gigabit Router Model R8000. When I look at my app it shows the number of devices supported by the router. Some times I see 10 and other times I see 9. Is there a way to "Re-Name" the devises in a way that I can easily identify them? All I am getting now is "Unknown". I have a "Nighthawk" security activated but I need to make sure no one is getting access. Please provide simple instructions since I am not a tech type person. Thank you.

Re: Naming Devices
Hi @Generac, welcome to the community! Yes, you can rename the devices on the list. You can tap/select the device that you want to rename then tap on "Edit" located on the top right. Once you are on the edit screen, you can tap on the pencil icon to change the device icon and/or tap the name field to change the device name.

Re: Naming Devices
I have tried renaming them long before finding this thread but the edited name never saves. It says that it has been updated but when the listen refreshes it goes right back to the "unknown device" name.

Re: Naming Devices
Hello CassThorn,
Curious to know, are you able to rename the device using the web GUI?
Thanks,
Christian
