Netgear Genie Accuracy
Hello All
I have Netgear Genie installed on my main computer. It connects to the network through an FS728TS switch which is connected to a DGN2200 for internet access. Frequently Genie will pop up a message that says the internet is disconnected and shortly (usually a few seconds) after a message saying the internet is connected. Are these messages reliable? Is that what is really happening? Nothing seems to be affected ie browsing and or downloads however I have noticed a slow down in the internet lately.
If they are accurate how do I find the cause? Could it be the switch? One port has already died on it.
Regards
Phil
