Netgear Genie IOS with D6000 (AC1750) router

Recently updated Genie on iphone 7. Previous version was working but with new revised version Genie displays unable to find router after supplying password. However it displays the network in limited functionality.

Hi @IVES,

1. Please try uninstalling an re-installing the app.

2. Does the issue persist on your other device?

If it is anything like the Android app they have added a new layer of login details.

The first screen that comes up is inviting you to join some Netgear cloudy thing that needs a different username and password.

If you skip through that you should get to a screen that lets you fill in the details needed to access your modem.

Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.

My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V

Thanks.

But when required to supply details the acess username is set at "admin" but when I enter my password it replies can not detect router or connect, before update no issues.

Default "password" also not successfull

OK. So you are getting beyond the invitation to sign your life away for cloud access.

I got stumped at that stage to begin with.
