I have the same problem. The downloaded install image for Genie version 2.4.26 is formatted in APFS format. It won't install on any older version of Mac OS than High Sierra, so the update description saying that 'minimum Mac OS version is 10.7.5' is wrong.

That makes sense then. That explains why when the .dmg disk image tries to open there is no mountable file system to be found.

I doubt technical NETGEAR staff are visiting these forums. They most likely have a contractor company doing the moderation. It's popular with companies creating these types of forums where the users help each other, giving the illusion that you receive direct technical support from the company without paying for it.
