Nighhawk AC4000 Tri-band (R8000P) - Nighthawk app conflicts with Mobile app
At home, I use a Nighthawk AC4000 tri-band router connected to a (non-Netgear) Technicolour modem. I use the "Nighthawk" app on my smartphone. No problems, all ok. Recently at the local village ...

Thanks for the input.
The consensus is that the MR1100 M1 router does not have Anywhere Access capability.

No solution. I've not received any answers about accessing the MR1100 from outside ("Anywhere Access") - either through the "Mobile" app or direct via its WAN address.

I recommend that you post here regarding the MR and access with it's application MOBILE app and see if others can help you out with that first. The MR and MOBILE app should work while connected with the mobile phone or pad with the MR. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cell-Service-Mobile-Hotspot/bd-p/aircard
The Nighthawk app will only connect to the R series router, locally and should if Anywhere Access is enabled I believe, though this is a older router and not sure if newer versions of the NH app are supporting that still.

As in other things, Netgear does not provide the tools to connect different types of devices. So there are three separate mobile apps, Orbi, Nighthawk and Mobile. None of them work together. Maybe this is something that will change.
