Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
The NIGHTHAWK APP Speedtest is not working properly on my iPhone 8 Plus. The download speeds are 0.00 upload speeds are ok. When I take a speedtest using Ookla, etc my internet speed is fine... download 86+ Mbps upload 11 Mbps...
Is anyone else experiencing issues with their app?

Re: Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
The speed test is run on the router, not on the mobile device - the App is just the controller, reading and displaying the test results and the history from the router. Unless all Nighthawk App on iOS show the 0.00 on the download side (there would be more reports) this looks more like an interoperability problem with the router model/firmware. In the App, go to the Main/Home menu and select -> About. Provide exact router model, router firmware, and App version (or an About screenshot) so Netgear can investigate.

...or simply not added (yet) to the product lists. There was just an update of the product lists going on these days as we have seen some test formatted lists temporarily - @ChristineT can you please ensure that all newer routers are added here (and not only Nighthawk routers, as also non-Nighthawk-routers can be used with the Nighthawk App. Confusion by marketing complete.

Re: Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
Just installed AC2400 today. Same problem with Download showing 0.00. Current Firmware 1.2.0.26. Firmware also comes back with an error message when trying to update.

R6700v2
Firmware 1.2.0.24
Running on Google Pixel XL - Nighthawk App v 2.2.8.489
This was a valuable measure for my bandwidth as you can't trust wifi tests.

Re: Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
AC2400 is a wifi speed indicator, not a Netgear model number.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

Re: Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
Uh, oh. They have done it again.
There was a spate of ACXXXX devices a few years ago. AC1450 for example, in 2013. Then Netgear stopped using that label.
That AC2400 was too new to waft across my horizon. (I checked.) It doesn't even appear in Netgear's list of forthcoming models.
There is also an AC2400 wifi standard that Netgear uses. Such as the XR450.
They do it to confiuse people.

Re: Nighthawk App Speed test is not working properly
By a strange quirk, in the R7800 speedtest works in the Android Nighthawk App. But it is broken in the browser interface, the QoS bit.
It also works in the Windows desktop genie.
