Nighthawk R7000 remote management icons & explanations
Hi, I'd like some clarification on some of the menu items that appear on the NH remote app.
1. One of my smartphones is logged onto the 2.4GH band but shows up as a wired device on the management app. What does it mean when a device is 'wired'? And if it's connected to internet via the router, why it showing as a wired connection?
2. What is Linkrate?
3. The smartphone (iPhone) mentioned above, does not have a linkrate. Why's that?
If anyone can help me understand the above, much appreciated. Please use language that you would use when explaining to a small child. I'm not that technical-even though I love the tech.
Thank you
Charles

Hi CharlzR,
May you reinstall the Nighthawk app on your mobile device as it may address your issues. You may find out what link rate is in the article below.
