Nighthawk app and c7000v2 firmware issue
I have Spectrum as an ISP and the firmware for the c7000v2 on their site is 1.02.09. I logged in through genie on PC and that is the firmware running. However, I try running the nighthawk app and it continuously tells me that the firm ware is not up to date and won’t let me use the app any further.

Firmware on cable modems is in the hands of your Internet service provider.
If your firmware is outdated, you cannot manually upgrade your cable modem’s or modem router’s firmware. You must contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to upgrade your firmware.
