Parental Controls
Dear Dexter:
Good Day.
The past several years I was using ASUS RT-AC68U and RT-AC87U and two days ago changed to R8500. The first moment I was quite excited surely expectations together, however, after two days desperate struggles now really depressed. The key point is "Parentl Control" - quite lacks of very important functions to regualte access to children's devices.
There were lots of similar complaints to NETGAER firmwares in forums - there won't be any parents glad to allow children devices un-limited access to internet till next morning and finally sleepless in nights.
Can we beg NETGEAR kindly take care of children's sleep together? say, such as any individual device to be blocked internet access 21:00 till next morning 9:00? In cheap ASUS firmware each device can be in "Week Day Table" assigning block schedules (weekend somewhat longer access hours), it's really beyond imanginations that noble NETGEAR nothing to this, maybe all children after saw "NETGEAR" then 21:00 or earlier they went to their rooms automaticlly and blowing off candles just like magic.
NETGEAR kind supports will be highly appreciated
Best Regards
Darren

Re: Parental Controls
Hi @sco005,
As it stands, the feature of setting a time limit for Internet access via LPC is not supported. However, you do have the option to manually pause the Internet access via the NETGEAR Genie app for your mobile device.
Regards,
Dexter
