R8000-100NAS Android Pixel 2 XL. Nighthawk app wont connect to the phone.

I've be?n trying to connect the app to my phone and it just will not connect.  I've followed every step the phone gave me.  I'm not sure when it stopped working.  I found an update for the router, thinking that may work I installed it, that didn't work either.  I really enjoy using the app to limit the kids internet time.  Can someone please help?

May you reinstall the Nighthawk app on your phone. Does the issue only occur on this specific mobile device?
