Not receiving push notifications so I cannot access router settings
Well, first, which router do you have, R8000 or R8000P.
OK, I have an R8000. I just don't understand what you are posting?
Push Notification? What do you mean? Where from? What for?
"I cannot access router settings"
Besides I don't understand what 'push notifications' has to do with this, what EXACTLY are you trying to use and how to access the router? Do you get any errors?

Re: R8000 nighthawk not receiving push notifications
Mine won’t either. I’ve toggled, changed from automatic to timed, turned to manual then back. Nothing worked. This is one of my least favorite, and most expensive routers. Then they want you to pay for a help desk. Because they can’t keep up with iOS updates. Sheesh. Give it time. It will debug in a few(or more), months when they get to system debugging. Annoying, but wait them out. It’s designed to get you to spend money on their plan.

As @labatt says, no one from Netgear is likely to be watching this discussion. If you do start your own, you'll have to provide some useful information. You could start by answering the questions from @IrvSp that @QuinlanT never got round to dealing with.
Push notices from what? On what Netgear device?
You can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:
Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)
They are there for a good reason.
