R8500 Remote Access with Genie not working from remote PC
Installed the desktop Genie App on the local PC at the office, followed all the instructions ^ registered the router, everything looked good.. when I installed the Genie on the Remote PC at my other office I don't get the drop down menu with the REMOTE ACCESS option, it's only seeing the local router of the remote PC, which isn't a Netgear.. I've tried re-installs but it just won't show the Remote Access option..

Did you ever find a solution? I have the same exact issue on my office computer. Our network admin said they aren't blocking access. I do actually get the drop down at home when I connect to an open Xfininity hotspot. I am also able to remote in from my iPhone. Seems like a software issue. Best, Derek
