RN10200-100AJS. Forgotten Username and Password
I'm helping my father update his router after the security update, and while trying to do so the default admin/password didn't work! I have come to realize that he has forgotten not only the password but he has also forgotten his answers to his security questions! i read through a couple of these forums and a lot of them said that you should reset the router to its factory settings, which i did, but the admin/password default still isn't working! am i just stupid or is this totally playing mind games with me? help would be appreciated!

Re: RN10200-100AJS. Forgotten Username and Password
Hi @jf12345,
1. To confirm, you are attempting to login to the R8000?
2. If yes, the link below may help out.

Re: RN10200-100AJS. Forgotten Username and Password
How are you going into the device? Wired or wifi?
Remember, if you are doing things with wifi, that uses a different set of passwords.
What device are you talking about? The RN10200 (your subject) is a ReadyNAS 100 Series 2- Bay box. Your footer says R8000, which is a router.
You have also posted your question in the section devoted to the apps that Netgear supplies for managing things. If you want more people to see it, try a section where they support whichever device you are trying to fix.
