Rax40 app won’t connect

Hi I have an rax40. I reset it twice, deleted the app. You setup the router everything goes normal until You get to the screen with a Blue progressive bar slowly going across the top, then it stops, says can’t connect to the router and that it the app won’t connect to the router, but the router is working normal, cameras and ring doorbell is working great????? I guess I don’t need app control?? Louis

Are you on iOS or Mac? 

If so, make sure icloud relay and private mac/ip address are all disabled.

Hi it’s iOS yes it’s on!  Do I need to worry about using the app?
