Router AC1200 Nighthawk App empty
Using the router with the Niighthawk app. App is not connected to anything. Won't let me do anything without admin password whiich I don't have and no QR CODE sticker on the modem. I had some cable lines replaced outside but why would that affect all the settings on the app? It won't let me do anything without QR code (need that with new email ) or admin password.
Can I just forget the app and get updates online? I'm really hating the lack of support from Netgear.

What model router do you have? AC1200 is not a model #.

Yes.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
Check the section in the manual on updating the firmware.
How do I manually upgrade firmware to my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
Is the Model: A6150|AC1200 Dual Band WiFi USB Mini Adapter listed in your footer involved in this in anyway? Or did you just click the first thing that popped up when you wrote your message?

This place is a good start, along with the above link.
