Router reloaded changed password on it's own
Every thing was working well or so I thought. Mid day the genie popped up (my computer asked if Netgear could make changes to myhhard drive {YES} ) and began to download my router as if it wasn't in my computer aready. My password to enter for setup changed back to "password" but the password I use to identify myself with Netgear online services remaned the same. What happenend? Please if you have an idea let me know. Thank you

Re: Router reloaded changed password on it's own
Hi @Carriesharing,
This is a very unique case wherein updating the NETGEAR Genie program would set the admin router password back to default. I suggest making sure that your routers firmware is up to date and change the password back what you had before.

Dexter
