Where is the PC software download

In 1917 when I bought the the Highthawk router there was a PC program that I downloaded on my computer that connected to the router. I bought a new computer and I can't find the download for this program on Netgear's website. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I have no idea what software you had back in 1917, but there is no extra software needed to connect a computer to a router.

You just plug a cable into the PC's LAN port and stick the other end in a spare LAN port on the  back of the router.

If you are using wifi, then you just tell your PC's wifi device to look for the router's wifi SSID.

There is desktop software and remote apps that you can use to manage the router. But you don't need them to use the router.

There is support for the R6700, including a manual and links to any software, somewhere at the end of this link:
