After upgrading iPhone to iOS 16 Nighthawk App login to R6400v2 times out. Also on iPhone using safari or Google can’t login to router. However on windows 10 computer using Edge or Chrome can login to router using the admin and setup password. Tried everything in other now closed thread (rebooting phone and router, uninstalling and reinstalling app, tried following prompts to recover password, etc) nothing fixes the login timeout problem. Router firmware is v1.0.4.128_10.0.104 Nighthawk App version is 2.21.1.354.
I was able to resolve by deleting Nighthawk app from iPhone, rebooting iPhone, factory resetting R6400v2 router, rebooting modem, reinstalling Nighthawk app on iPhone, following instructions for new router setup using the Nighthawk app. I did think I may have found the original cause when going through the “new” install. In settings the admin password, the “rules” state no special characters allowed in the password. My prior admin password had a special character in it. My new now does not.
