Re: App speed check does not display speeds
when you run it off a device and not off the netgear app, does it work?
its a more trustworthy test anyway

Re: App speed check does not display speeds
Other speed checks work, I've tried removing the app and putting it back in on both iPad and iPhone. Rebooting modem and router. All firmware is up to date so I'll told. All other functions on the app work.

Re: App speed check does not display speeds
My modem was supplied by spectrum/charter is a Hitron E31N2V1. Should I replace it with my own modem?

No. I was just making sure you weren't in a double nat. It can cause issues. You're not.
Does the speedtest work if you go through the router's browser?

Re: App speed check does not display speeds
Don't think I know how to do that. Technolology has left me behind. I just used the app to setup the new mesh system haven't actually gone into the router. Just got it a Costco last week. They had hundreds for sale, seems like others would be having this same problem. Thanks for your help.

Re: App speed check does not display speeds
You'd be surprised at how frequently something in the app doesn't work.
Everything else works fine though?
and the speed test on individual devices is hitting the speeds/performance?
If so, I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: App speed check does not display speeds
Strangely I love when things fix themselves.
🙂
If you mark it solved, it might keep others from trying to fix a solved issue 😉
