MK63S one satellite not connecting

I have used my NIghthawk 3pack mesh system without problems for 6 months. Now suddenly one of the 2 satellites refuses to connect. When I plug it in the light goes from white to orange, but never to blue. I have tried synching, resetting, unplugging and plugging back in--but nothing works. Can anyone suggest a solution?

No progress, and a disappointing conversation with Netgear customer service. They say that although I have a hardware guarantee until December noone can diagnose whether I have a hardware problem unless I buy a $89 software service contract.

What Firmware version is currently loaded on the MR and the MS? Any recent FW updates? 
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

If you turn OFF the other MS, Can you try to resync the MR and this one MS. Bring the MS to the same room as the MR. 

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
