Nighthawk Mesh WiFI 6 Router MR80 Won't Connect to Home Network
I have a Nighthawk Mesh MR80 system. I am trying to do a new setup for a new modem I got, but it won't connect to the wifi network. The problem is that when I scan the QR code on the router it says the network is the default network name, but it is not. So when it tries to go through the setup process it is looking for a network that does not exist. So I cannot get past this step. It seems that basically the router's default network isn't showing up as an option to connect my phone to and that is the problem.
Can someone help?

Re: Nighthawk Mesh WiFI 6 Router MR80 Won't Connect to Home Network
A couple things.
1. what modem/gateway do you have?
2. Try factory resetting the router. maybe it was a returned device. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. Then try setup
3. If that doesn't work, you can hardwire a pc/laptop into the router and set it up this route. I usually use this route because its faster/easier.
