Virgin HUB3 and MR60 problem

Hi 

I have changed Virgin hub to Modem mode and connected MR60 and it's masisvely improved wifi around the house but my wired network no longer works, i have tried ethernet from Hub 3 to the switches no joy and ethernet from MR60 to switches and still no joy

any help out there please?

What virgin hub is it? 

Have you tested other devices connected to the MR60's ethernet port? 

do they work?

Have you tried different cables? I've seen sketchy cables work on some devices but not on others.

Hi it is Hub 3 and weirdly enough the same cable from ethernet on MR60 to imac works fine, undo the ethernet fro imac and connect it to the switch that serves the rooms around the house and the sockets around the house don't work, but they work if I turn the HUB3 back to a router and disconnect the MR60
