Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk MESH products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Do you recommend replacing the router or obtaining a mesh system for a three story house?
the MK 63 AX1800 is on sale at Costco,
do you recommend it?
thank you

FURRYe38 perfectly fine here - the concern is about the "slow" R8000 .... in reality more about the wireless client causing the problem there. Please consider to change your Bot configuration, or look into your RPA system. No long texts, no full quotes required - waste of bandwidth, time, and display resources only.
Cardio unless you need more coverage by a mesh system, and you intend to update at least the computer you are speed-sensitive, you can keep your R8000 in my honest opinion.
