nighthawk mesh wifi 6 system - connecting two routers and satellites

i purchased a nighthawk wifi 6 system (one router, 2 satelittes) a while back and now need to add another satelitte. so i purchases and router plus a single satellite, but i cant get them to work together.

i thought i could connect the rounters via an ethernet cable - but this doesnt work.

Suggestions please/

    A couple things. 

    1. you didn't put any models for what systems you have. 

    2. without models. its tough to know if the satellites are compatible. 

    3. when connecting 2 router together, it causes a double nat. Put the 2nd one into access point mode. 

    4. The 2 systems won't "mesh" together. You potentially could add the 2nd system's satellite to the first system but the router isn't going to integrate with the mesh.
